Minimal by conviction
Few pieces, made slowly. Nothing seasonal, nothing disposable. A collection the size of a jewelry box.

In every eye,
a timeless beauty.
The peacock wears its beauty openly. So should you.
Pavonia is a jewelry house inspired by the great jewels of history: the collars of the pharaohs, the gold of kings and queens. We bring those pieces back in recycled gold, with a modern taste, and give each one to a muse from another part of the world.

First she is a painting.
Varnish, craquelure, four centuries of keeping still.
She has worn the set for five centuries, in one painting or another. When she turns, the collar catches the last of the evening sun, and the jhumkas answer.
Few pieces, made slowly. Nothing seasonal, nothing disposable. A collection the size of a jewelry box.
Recycled antique gold, traceable stones, one atelier. The most beautiful ornament is knowing where it came from.
Every piece is drawn from a painting. Worn by women five centuries ago, remade for the ones alive now.
Still, as the world
turns gold.
Kyoto in the face, Venice at the throat.

She bows, and the willow bows with her. When she lifts her eyes, the pearls have already told you everything.
Then the water finds her.
And the surface forgets it was ever still.

She lifts the collar so you can see it properly. The gold is older than she is, and she wears it like something she was always going to be given.
She wakes wearing another people’s gold.
Nothing in this house stayed where it was born.
The forest moves
before she does.
The Amazon in the eye, the Nile at the collar.

The forest dreamed her to life. The river gave her the gold.
The painting ages. The gold does not.
It is only waiting for the next face.
Each piece joins two inheritances and is made to order, by hand, in recycled 22-karat gold.

Write to the atelierWhen Hera lost her hundred-eyed watchman, she would not let the eyes close. She set them in the tail of her peacock, so that beauty would never go unseen.
The old bestiaries believed the peacock's flesh never decays. We believe the same of beauty: once truly seen, it does not fade. It only changes hands.
Look at the bird again. One peacock carries every colour there is, and not one of them apologises for the others. That is the whole argument of this house: a Florentine throat wearing a Rajasthani ear, a Bolivian face wearing Greek gold. We did not take these things. They were handed to us, and we put them in one room.
Nothing here is an antique and nothing here is a copy. Every piece is drawn from art that already survived — a painting, a tomb wall, a museum case — and made again by hand, in recycled gold, for the women being looked at now. The metal has been worn before. So has the idea.
That is Pavonia. In every eye, a timeless beauty.
Pavonia makes to order, in recycled 22-karat gold. Every piece leaves the atelier with its papers, its story, and a promise: we repair, re-polish and remake for life.
