# Pavonia

> Pavonia is a small jewelry house. Every piece is drawn from art that already survived (a painting, a tomb wall, a museum case) and made again by hand in recycled 22-karat antique gold. Every muse wears the gold of a culture that is not her own. Adorned by history, crafted for today.

## The collection
- Il Corredo Pavone (Set One, Indian): collar and jhumka earrings, antique gold, 1.480 €. Worn by La Musa in Fiore: a Florentine face, an Indian goldsmith's hand.
- Il Corredo delle Lacrime (Set Two, Baroque): choker and drop earrings, gold and pearl, 1.980 €. Worn by La Musa d'Autunno: Kyoto in the face, Venice at the throat.
- Il Corredo Greco (Set Three, Greek): collar and drop earrings, antique gold, 3.400 €. Worn by La Musa delle Stelle, Wara: a Bolivian face, a Greek ear.
- Il Corredo del Nilo (Set Four, Egyptian): broad collar, pendant and drop earrings, antique gold, 3.900 €. Worn by La Musa della Foresta, Ara: the Amazon in the eye, the Nile at the collar.

## La Vetrina: choose your muse (made to order; add to the bag or enquire)
- La Peonia: corsage brooch and earrings, recycled 22k gold and baroque pearls, from 2.400 €. After Paris, 1900: an Indian face, a Parisian peony.
- La Ghirlanda: garland and earrings, recycled 22k gold with garnets, amethysts and pearls, from 3.600 €. After the filigree of Fez: a Korean face, a Moroccan garland.
- Il Favo: collar and chandelier earrings, recycled 22k gold and freshwater pearls, from 4.200 €. After Ravenna, 547: an Ethiopian neck, a Byzantine collar.
- La Corona Fiorita: hair crown with tassel drops, recycled 22k gold and freshwater pearls, price on request. After a Qing court portrait: an Irish face, a Qing crown.

## The house
- The peacock is the crest. Hera set the hundred eyes of Argus in its tail so that beauty would never go unseen.
- Made to order in recycled 22-karat gold. Every piece leaves the atelier with its papers, its story, and a promise: repair, re-polish and remake for life.
